Roti Prata @ Two Chefs Eating Place (Sin Ming)
The Roti Prata stall is at the famous Sze Char – Two Chefs at Sin Ming Estate. This roti prata is one of the best in Singapore. It is a good as the one in Sin Ming too – Blk 24 Sin Ming Road (Jin Fa Kopitiam).
I prefer to order gosong (no filing) roti prata as you can then taste the texture of the prata. This stall make the gosong prata with crispy exterior but fluffy and chewy inside. It has the buttery sweet fragrance from the dough. A good prata always depending on the 2 very important steps – making of the dough and leave it overnioght and then the flipping of the dough before cooking. Both steps required very skillful cook to complete. Many times, you get the dough made by machines from the Central Kitchen. This stall is certainly hand-made them.
The only weakness as compared to Blk 24 is their curry sauce which is too oily.
