Poh Hwa Fuzhou Oyster Cake
You could hardly find many fried Fuzhou Oyster Cake in Singapore. There is one popular stall at Maxwell Road hawker centre. This stall used to be at the coffee shop at the juntion of Kitcherner Road and Jalan Besar Road. They have shifted to this Coffee Shop for more than 2 years. It used to more generous in the ingredient. I think the inflation over the years have resulted in the shrinking in the ingredients. The price has increased from $1.20 to now $1.40 per piece. Add shrimp $1.80 / pc.
Two versions – one with peanut the other one is with ikan billis.
Best is to eat on the spot (or just fried by the aunty) – ta pao will not be nice.
